This Directorate is hiring Research Associate (RA) under the Project entitled “Exploiting
cross-talk of CAM (Crassulacean Acid Metabolism) photosynthetic transition for
management of drought- and salinity- stress in groundnut’’. Details of recruitment is as

Name of position : Research Associate

Qualification :

PhD in Microbiology/Agril. Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Agril. Biochemistry / Plant Molecular
Biology and Biotechnology / Plant Physiology
OR
MSc in Microbiology/Agril. Microbiology/ Biochemistry /Agril. Biochemistry /Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology with NET qualification and having 02 years of research experience.
OR
MSc in Microbiology/Agril. Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Agril. Biochemistry /Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology with 4 years/5 years of
Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average and at least 02 years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/Associateship/ training/other engagements

Remuneration

Rs. 54000 +HRA (Ph.D)

Rs. 49000+HRA (Msc)

Young Professional-II (YP-II) 01 – Young Professional-I (YP-I) 6 से 7 – Young Professional -I (YP-I) F&A- 01 (Purely on Temporary Basis)

This Directorate require hiring services of Young Professional-I at ICAR-DGR, Junagadh purely on contractual and temporary/short-term basis for rendering technical help to the scientists of this Directorate for conducting experiments in various disciplines. The details are as under:

Name of position : Young Professional-II (YP-II) M.Sc. Genetics & Plant Breeding /Seed Science & Technology OR B.Sc.-Agriculture (4- years) 1 Minimum one year experience in Groundnut Seed Production 2 General Knowledge of Computer Application.

Salary : 35,000/- pm

  • Young Professional-I (YP-I) Graduate (B.Sc. in Agricultural Science) OR B.Sc. Biotechnology / Life Science / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Chemistry OR Diploma in Agricultural Sciences

  • Young profesional (fixed) (YP-I) F& B.Com./BBA/BBS (minimum 60% marks) from any recognized University / College and one year experience in relevant field. Knowledge IT Application, Virtual Platform Meetings, Computer Skills (MS Office Tally etc) will be given advantage

Salary : 25,000/- pm
