About the job
- The Technical Writer – (Product) is responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for Elucidata’s products, services, and processes.
- This position requires a strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that meets the needs of a variety of stakeholders.
- The Technical Writer will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain product documentation such as user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and online help systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content.
- Write and edit technical documentation to meet the brand’s style, tone, and quality standards.
- Research and analyze technical information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain a content library and knowledge base for internal and external users.
- Develop and maintain documentation templates and style guides.
- Participate in the review and revision process for technical content.
- Create and deliver training materials to users on the proper use and maintenance of products.
Requirements for the role of Technical Writer at Elucidata :
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in technical writing or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear and concise language for a non-technical audience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems (VCS).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications for the role of Technical Writer at Elucidata:
- Ideally, have a background in biotechnology
- Familiarity with software programming languages such as Python.
- Experience with video and multimedia production.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
