Jubilant Biosys is a leading contract research organization specializing in drug discovery and development. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Research Associate to join our Discovery Biology Department.

Experience: 2 – 6 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Cell-based assay development (optimization, validation, and compound screening) under the guidance of Group leaders.
• Enzyme-based assay development (optimization, validation, and compound screening).
• Invitro assay development, validation, and optimization of cell-based assay and enzyme-based assay for various targets in therapeutic areas such as CNS/Metabolic disorder/Autoimmune/Inflammatory diseases/Pain/Oncology in the field of drug discovery.
• Working extensively in the area of functional cell-based assays, validating the same to determine the activity of new chemical entities (NCEs).
• Responsible for writing protocols, uploading data, maintaining lab notebooks, and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Analyzing experimental data using GraphPad PRISM (statistical analysis software) for IC50 and graphs.
• Designing experiments, executing, calculating, analyzing data, representing graphically, and reporting results to project teams.
• Following lab guidelines for safety aspects and assisting the lab head in designing new guidelines.
• Adhering to ethical guidelines for assay validation, data analysis, and maintenance.
• Working collaboratively in a team environment to deliver results efficiently.
• Being a team player and exhibiting a willingness to learn new skills in their respective research area.
