As a JRF, you

will play an essential role in our ICMR-funded research project. Through the utilization of state-of-the-art techniques, including X-ray crystallography, and molecular dynamics simulations, we aim to uncover fundamental insights into biological macromolecules, paving the way for advancements in molecular medicine.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research experiments in line with project objectives and protocols.
  • Analyze and interpret research data using appropriate software and techniques.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to exchange knowledge and insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant scientific literature and contribute to scientific discussions.
  • Prepare reports, manuscripts, and presentations for scientific conferences and journals.
  •  Adhere to laboratory safety guidelines and maintain accurate records of experiments.

Essential Qualification:

Post Graduate Degree in basic sciences or graduate/post-graduate degree in professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC, NET, including lectureship, and GATE.
b) The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC,I ISER etc.

Desirable Qualification:

  • Experience in Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology techniques, Including Gene cloning and
    expression/Structure Biology/Biophysical Techniques.
