Opportunity for Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
IIT Indore invites applications for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under a time-bound research project in the Department of Computer Science Engineering (CSE). This temporary position is purely on a contractual basis and offers an exciting opportunity for motivated candidates to contribute to research in the field of DSP and image processing applications.
Project Details
Project Title: Development of novel design methodologies for secured reusable hardware accelerators using steganography and multi-modal biometrics for DSP and image processing applications.
Project Tenure: 3 years and/or co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates interested in applying for the SRF position should have one of the following qualifications:
- M.Sc, BE, B.Tech, BVSc, B.Pharm, or an equivalent degree, and at least two years of post-MSc, BE, B.Tech, BVSc, B.Pharm research experience, demonstrated through published papers in standard refereed journals.
- ME, M.Tech, or an equivalent degree in Engineering/Technology.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The upper age limit for candidates is 32 years. However, there is a relaxation of up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes, Other Backward Classes (OBC), women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship Details
Selected candidates for the Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 35,000.
Desirable Skills
While not mandatory, candidates with knowledge of the following areas will be preferred:
- Digital circuits
- VHDL/Xilinx tools
- VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration)
- Computer hardware
- Encryption and security
