Applications are invited for the post of One Research Associate and two Junior/Senior Research Fellows (JRF/SRF) from life sciences background for the ICMR-funded project entitled “Mechanistic exploration of pathways leading to carcinogenesis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection” under Principal Investigator, Prof. Seyed E. Hasnain and Dr. Asrar Ahmad Malik.
Post I
Name of the Post – Junior/Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF)
No. of Posts – 02
Age Limit – Upper age limit is 28 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC persons as per
Govt. of India rules.
Fellowship – Rs 31,000/- + 24% HRA
Educational Qualification – Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 60% marks or
above. NET/ GATE qualification is preferred.
Experience – The candidate should have at least 1 year of molecular biology experience (Cloning, Western Blot, PCR etc). Those who do not have 1-year of research experience need NOT apply.
Post II
Name of the Post – Research Associate (RA)
No. of Posts – 01
Fellowship – Rs 47,000/- + 24% HRA
Educational Qualification – PhD in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or any other related interdisciplinary engineering and/or science, from a reputed institute with strong experience and publication record from PhD work and related work.
Experience – The candidate should be adept at molecular biology techniques (Mice handling, Cytometry, CRISPR-Cas9 mediated gene editing, etc).

Name of the Post – Lab Attendant

Age Limit – Upper age limit is 28 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC persons as per
Govt. of India rules.
Salary – Rs 20000/-
Educational Qualification – 12th pass or above and must have at least two-year experience working in biology and R&D labs.
Experience – Candidate should have at least 2 years of molecular biology experience (Media and buffer preparation, Knowledgeable of Good laboratory practices). Those who do not have 2-year research experience need NOT apply.
