Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for Junior Research Fellow (1 post) to work in the SERB-DST-sponsored project [GAP2132] and Project Associate –I (Industry sponsored project) to work in the area of Natural Product Chemistry (Seaweeds). Applications received by e-mail will be scrutinized based on job requirements, the candidate’s academic and research background and any such shortlisted candidates as eligible as per the criteria will be asked to attend the interview on 12th January 2023 (from 10.30 AM onwards) using online mode i.e. Skype or MS- TEAM. The details of the interview will be sent to such candidates by e-mail only.

Emoluments – 31,000/- p.m [Consolidated]
Qualification – M.Sc in Chemical or Biological Sciences. Candidate should have cleared UGC/CSIR-NET, GATE or any other national-level exam conducted by national agencies like DBT, DST, ICAR, ICMR, DAE, MHRD, DRDO, IIT, IISER etc.
The selected candidates will have to work on extraction and stability of pigments from seaweeds.
