Advertisement for two positions in research projects funded by ‘ICMR’
Applications are invited for two positions – one Junior Research Fellow and one Laboratory Technician in two different research projects funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt of India, at the VHS Laboratory Services, Department of Clinical Research, VHS Hospital, Chennai. The proposed projects will provide opportunities to develop and learn cellular and molecular techniques to understand various disease pathogenesis.

| Duration of the project | 24 months* |
| Eligibility | M.Sc/M.Tech Life Sciences degree holders. Experience in molecular biology, tissue culture and/or microbiology shall add value. Candidates should possess good communication and writing skills. NET score (CSIR-UGC, GATE, DBT, DST, DOS, DRDO, ICAR, DAE, MHRD, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc is mandatory. |
| Age Limit | Not more than 35 years as on 01.03.2023. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be as per Govt. of India norms. |
| Salary | Consolidated pay – Rs. 36,580/- per month |

| Eligibility | Two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is essential. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences is desirable. Experience in molecular biology and microbiology shall add value. Candidates should possess good communication skills and grasping capacity. |
| Age Limit | Not more than 30 years as on 01.03.2023. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be as per Govt. of India norms. |
| Salary | Consolidated pay – Rs. 18,000/- per month |
