Remuneration: Rs.22000/- PM

Essential Qualification:  Post-Graduation in Environmental sciences/Agriculture/ Botany/ or related subjects.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in handling science education programmes / Research experience in the field of environment/biodiversity/ climate change.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The incumbent will need to coordinate environmental education programmes in selected schools in the Wayanad district. The responsibilities include coordination of educational activities, monitoring of automated weather stations (3), collection and tabulation of weather data, capacity building of students in attending science events and conducting classes/camps and field visits for students.

It is essential the incumbent should have proficiency in the local language – will be able to understand, read and write Malayalam as he/she has to work with the local people. Knowledge of English is required as the project involves the preparation of reports, data collection and interaction with the staff of MSSRF at various levels.
