VIT Vellore is inviting applications for the position of Project Assistant for a funded project in the School of Bio Sciences and Technology. The project is sponsored by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India.

Title of the Project: “A novel tumor suppressor miRNA-3154 attenuates Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC) through inhibiting Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs) propagation by targeting multiple oncogenic drivers YAP1, KRAS, MYC and RELA”.

Qualification: M.Sc degree in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biomedical Sciences from a recognized university.

Desirable

Candidates having experience in Biochemical/Molecular/Cell culture experiments as evident from project dissertation will be given preference.

Stipend: Rs. 21,800/- per month (Consolidated Pay)

Sponsoring Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi
