MAHE Manipal Microbiology Research Position Available – Applications Invited
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for the following Research position to work under Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored project titled “Scrub typhus: Clinico-epidemiological analysis, humoral immune response and Molecular characterization of Orientia tsutsugamushi” at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Duration: 5 months
Position Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Microbiology or Basic medical science with CSIR-UGC NET and GATE qualification and/or any national level examination conducted by central govt. like DST, DBT, ICMR etc.
- Candidates with a good academic track record and good computer skills.
Job Description:
Responsible for carrying out molecular experiments, sequencing data analysis, maintaining study related documents and data analysis. Preparation of reports to the funding agency.
