NOTIFICATION NO. 10/2023 FOR WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

CSIR – IICT is conducting Walk-in-Interview on 20.07.2023 for the following positions under various sponsored projects purely on temporary basis.

Candidates who fulfill the under-mentioned criteria of age, educational qualifications, experience etc., may appear for walk-in-interview with the duly filled application form (download the application form from CSIR-IICT Website) along with one set of attested relevant documents (certificates of all educational qualifications from matric/10th onwards, valid NET/GATE etc, Experience, DOB, latest Category/Caste etc) and appear for walk in interview. Candidates are required to bring all the original certificates for verification. Candidates should register their names for walk-in-interview between 09.30 AM to 10.30 AM on 20.07.2023.

Name of the Project: Engineering hybrid biological systems for self sustainable treatment

of persistent mobile chemicals in Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) wastewater

Essential Qualification: MSc in Integrated Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Microbiology with 4 years of research experience

Desirable Qualification: Experience in waste water treatment

Name of the Project: Study on the role of growth differentiation factor (gdf9) in reprogrammed hyperandrogenic prenatal munne models of women pcos

Essential Qualification: Master’s in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Zoology or Life Sciences

Desirable Qualification: Rat and mice handling, basic molecular biology techniques 

Monthly Remuneration (in Rs.):

  • ₹. 31,000+HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility tests- CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions and

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in any stream of Life Sciences 

Desirable Qualification: Prior research experience with cell or animal biology with NET or GATE qualification.

Essential Qualification: M.Pharm Pharmacology/Pharmaceutics (or) MSc Biotechnology

Desirable Qualification: a) 1 or 2 years of experience in handling cell lines or animal samples or patient samples. b) Knowledge of clinical trials and cohort studies  

Monthly Remuneration (in Rs.): ₹. 25,000+HRA

Post IV (b)

Essential Qualification: Engineering graduates in Computer science/Information Science/ Bioinformatics

Desirable Qualification: Post-graduation in Computer Sciences/Bioinformatics, Statistics, Master of Computer Applications or M.Tech in Computer Science with strong knowledge of Data analysis using machining learning and deep learning models. Knowledge of genomic/proteomic or clinical data analysis using Machine Learning or Deep Learning techniques.

Name of the Project: Design of high rate biomethanation technology based on AGR for the generation of biogas & bio manure from food waste

Desirable Qualification: Experience in waste management & M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.

Upper age limit as on date of walk in interview: 50

Essential Qualification: BSc/Diploma in Engineering (Chemical/Civil/Mechanical/Electrical
Engineering/Biotechnology/Mechatronics etc)

Desirable Qualification: Experience in safety (Chemical/bulk drug/ pharmaceutical/R&D institute / laboratory etc) is given preference. 

Monthly Remuneration (in Rs.): ₹. 20,000+HRA

Post VII

Job Post: Scientific Administrative Assistant

Name of the Project: Innovative Processes & Technologies for crop protection chemicals (Agro Mission-2 

Upper age limit as on date of walk in interview: 50

Essential Qualification: BSc (Microbiology/Biotechnology)

Desirable Qualification: Hands on experience in Microbiology and biotechnology

Monthly Remuneration (in Rs.): ₹. 18,000+HRA

  • Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the date of interview.
  • Experience shall be counted after obtaining the minimum prescribed qualification.
  • Candidates possessing essential qualification in the required area/discipline only should apply, others are not eligible. Result awaited candidates are not eligible.

NOTE : 

  1. The above age limits are relaxable for candidates of statutory groups (SC/ST/OBC) and PWD candidates as per Govt. of India/ CSIR instructions on the subject. 
  2. The candidates who have already served CSIR-IICT or any other lab/institute of CSIR as any Project Assistant / Project Fellow / JRF (in contract R&D projects) / SRF (in contract R&D projects) / Research Associate etc., for a total period of 5 years or more are not eligible for these engagements. The candidates who have served for a period less than 5 years will have tenure up to remaining period till completion of 5 years.
  3. CSIR-IICT reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the award in case of any discrepancy found, in the candidature of any selected candidate at any stage. 
  4. The selection will be on the basis of interview & skill test if applicable will be conducted for suitable posts. 
  5. CSIR-IICT reserves the right not to fill up a particular position, if it so desires. The number of vacancies indicated above may vary at the time of actual selection. 
  6. The period of experience in a discipline / area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications for that position. 
  7. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis initially for a period up to six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project / satisfactory performance or conduct of the fellow as the case may be and does not entitle him/her for any permanent position in CSIR/IICT. 
  8. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. 
  9. No interim enquiry or correspondence will be entertained.
