Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow on a contract basis in the ICMR-funded project entitled “A prospective cohort study to assess the long-term quality of life, neuro-endocrine function, and metabolic syndrome in patients with pituitary region tumours” under Dr. S.S. Dhandapani, Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Educational Qualification: Masters in life science (As per ICMR guidelines)
Age Limit: As per ICMR guidelines
Remuneration: Rs. 56,000/- p.m. + 10,080 (18% HRA), Total = Rs. 66,080/-
This appointment is purely on a temporary basis. The annual extension will be given by ICMR after review of the work done on the scheme during the previous year. Therefore, this appointment will be initially for 1 year, renewable depending upon further extension of the project. The appointment can be terminated by either side by giving one month’s notice or stipend thereof.

Interested candidates fulfilling the above conditions are required to submit their complete biodata duly signed and enclosing photocopies of certificates/testimonials in support of date of birth, qualification/experience, etc., affixed with the latest photograph, and deposit it in the Department of Neurosurgery, Room No 2, 5th floor Nehru Hospital PGIMER, Chandigarh latest by 6.9.2024 till 5.00 PM. Applications received after the due date will not be considered. The candidates are then required to appear for a personal interview along with original certificates on 10.9.2023 at 2.30 PM in the Department of Neurosurgery, PGIMER, Chandigarh. If the number of candidates is more, shortlisting for the interview will be done by written test on the date of the interview. No separate interview letters will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid.
