Walk-in Interview for SRF Position

Position: Senior Research Fellow

Project: Wellcome Trust/ DBT India Alliance Funded project “Analysis of the impact of mRNA/circRNA interactions in pancreatic ß-cell physiology”

PI: Dr. Amaresh Panda

Fellowship: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA

Eligibility & Selection

Candidates must possess an M.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics or allied Life Science subjects with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Candidates should also have two years of molecular biology research experience and must have qualified national-level examinations such as NET / GATE/ GPAT/ BET. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive knowledge and experience in animal cell culture & molecular biology techniques.

Age Limit

The candidate should be below 32 years of age, as of 12th February 2024. Age relaxation of five years is

applicable for SC/ST/Women/PH candidates, and three years for OBC candidates, as per the Government of India rules.

Incomplete applications and applications without the mentioned documents will be rejected. The appointment will be for one year or until the end of the project.
