This is a mission-critical leadership role, and the candidate will be responsible for running the entire operation in India (servicing global customers). 

Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for managing the P&L
  • Will be responsible for managing and growing the business and teams (10-15 members).
  • Will be responsible for planning growth strategy and executing the strategy. 
  • Will be responsible for oversight and delivery of tests/projects on time and budget. 
  • The candidate will need to be comfortable with both the technical and commercial aspects of the business. 
  • The candidates will be responsible for managing the team and also communicates and resolving technical and commercial queries from large customers about our services (via email/ phone calls and Video calls). 95%+ of customers are Global (mostly Europe)
  • Review lab progress and functioning- complete ownership of the labs
  • Strong communication skills (communication both with team and all international customers) 
  • Should be good at building processes and protocols.
  • Qualification: MS or PhD in microbiology/biotechnology/life sciences. An MBA preferred but not mandatory.
  • Work experience: 10 years. With 5 years of Business experience 
  • The candidate must have prior sales and management expertise. 
  • The candidate should strong understanding of microbiology (bacterial, viral and fungal) tests.
  • The candidate must have global experience, preferably Europe and/or USA 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • The candidate must have a scientific and analytical mindset. 

Location: Electronic city, Bangalore. 

Salary: Rs. 20-25 Lakhs PA
